Supporting your body between sessions.
Healing is not something that happens only on the table. The work we do together continues to unfold in the days and weeks that follow, as your body integrates the changes and settles into a new sense of ease. Below are the things I share most often with the people I work with: gentle guidance for aftercare, a few resources worth exploring, and a network of practitioners I trust.
Myofascial release begins an unwinding process in your fascia that can keep working long after you leave. A little gentle care helps your body move through it with more ease.
Honoring the healing response. As long-held restrictions soften, it is normal to feel temporary soreness, fatigue, or even an unexpected wave of emotion. This is your body processing and letting go, not a setback.

Drink plenty of water. Your fascia is a fluid-dependent web of tissue. Drinking water after treatment supports your body as the newly released tissue rehydrates and settles.
Move gently, don't force. Skip intense workouts right after a session. Choose slow walks, light stretching, or simply resting, and let your nervous system integrate the changes at its own pace.
The power of stillness. If an area feels tight between visits, resist the urge to force it. Rest a small, soft ball against the spot and apply quiet, sustained pressure for a few minutes to encourage a gentle self-release.
